THE CLASSIC HOLLYWOOD STYLE

THE CLASSIC HOLLYWOOD STYLE

Hollywood Style

Many people are fond of watching films. And that’s because film life is different from ours that’s why we want to be there and escape from our own world and go wherever we wanted to be. But of course, how it will affect us also depends on their style. The style of a film is very important factor because it will create an impact and influence to its viewers. Although the audience may not consciously notice film style, it still affects the viewer’s experience of the film.

The Classical Hollywood Style is much more in the narrative form. It creates an impact to their audience through the emotions and the story would let you escape from your own world.
Most films are conforming to the Hollywood style, which has a set of guidelines that the films tend to follow. It was influenced by the Europeans and began by Studio system then being revitalized each generation. They also use elements of classical style. Classical Hollywood narrative film styles and the conventions of other genres help to guide the audience in what to expect.
The most important aspect of this particular style is that it encourages the viewers to become fascinated and captivated by a story but actively discourage them from consciously noticing the editing and camera techniques that are being used to tell it.

The audiences are drawn into the narrative. They feel as if they are seeing the story unfolding onscreen. The techniques are deliberately used in order to affect exactly the right emotional response in them and at the right moment. The result is seamless and engaging storytelling and great filmmaking than can really make them feel as if they are actually participating in an event or in the story.
